Don't ask me where this one came from, I was surprised I actually made it [I haven't been too happy lately and haven't much been feeling like drawing anything]. It's been a *long* time since I've done shading like this [in pencil]. Why is it the good ones always seem to end up on sketched on paper?
Scottish Humor:You should be careful about stereotyping the Scots as mean. There was a recent letter to a newspaper from an Aberdonian which said 'If you print any more jokes about mean Scotsmen I shall stop borrowing your paper.'

Omg. This is fantastically fantastic! I wish that i could draw like this. *sigh* o well. Stupid talent. Lol. Keep up the good work.

2 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Aww, thanks! Talent isn't something one is born with, I had to work at it and though it is really frustrating at times, if you keep at it you'll get as good as, or better than me. 2"

I really love the eyes on her! They are so capturing and so innocent. It is hard for me to draw someone with innocent eyes... I'll tell you I have tried and tried.... They always come out a bit jaded.

I'm sure you have heard this a million times by previous commenters but the ear is too low for the face... The detail of the ear is simply amazing tho. I love it!

18 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: I guess the easiest way to make a person look innocent is to give them HUGE eyes and HUGE eyelashes. That would be strange to combine with them holding a bloody head..."What I didn't do anything..." I went to look at this one again, and found out it's on a tour! <2 I might move the ear up in my photo program one of these days, but it will have to be after I meet my commission deadline, and after my wedding! <2 Thanks again!"

' Aww, thanks! Talent isn't something one is born with, I had to work at it and though it is really frustrating at times' - Artists quote. I dislike being hurtfuly honest but talent in at this level of high standard is something a person is born with. Even though you can indeed better yourself at an inherited talent as you get older.

2 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Well, if you say so, I wasn't all that good when I was little though. <2 Perhaps talent should be described as stick-to-it- tiveness, because that is what one must do to get good. <2 Thank you for the sweet comment. 2"

very nice, the pencil shading makes the cloak look like a thin wool, so its an excellent effect. No wonder this is in a tour! i wish i could get some pictures in a tour!

3 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: This is in a tour? Wow, I wish I knew when people put my stuff on tours, it seems the only way I find out is if I browse my own gallery or if I get a comment mentioning it! <2 I like the fact that you mentioned what kind of fabric you think the cloak is, I never really thought about it myself (or I just think "Cotton, the fabric of your life whoo!"). Awesome, thank you for your kind words, and for letting me know I was on a tour!"

I just adore those eyes. Excellent pencil work!

13 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: *bows* Thanks for the compliment, considering you're awesome at pencil work yourself it's a high one indeed! Thanks as well for poking around my gallery, I look forward to you filling your gallery up so I can look at more of your art. 2"
