SciFi and Fantasy Art: Streetcar Museum Elf

I did this at the Streetcar Museum, while Sandy was working on entering some books into the compouter there. We were there for some hours.
Scottish Humor:Janet once gave her boyfriend a pocket comb for Christmas, but he never used it. He said he didn't need to comb his pockets.

Hmmm.. I like it. Calm expression and great shading! The flowers look good, too!

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Thanks! I was surprised it turned out so well because I didn't have my kneded eraser with me... "Horrors, I had to use the one on the tip of my mechanical pencil!!!" "

Her face is very striking...like someone you might pass on the street. Minus her fabulous hair and garland, of course.

:-) Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: And minus her ears... ! "

I really like this one. i think it is one of your better ones that I have seen here. She is very pretty.

13 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: *bows* I wish more people would see that! I have no idea why some pictures I consider among my best get hardly any comments! I guess it is because people are away at the Dragonlance pictures arguing about Kitara and Goldmoon! <1 Thank you for commenting, I really appreciate it!"

The whole picture is great, but I specially like her eyes and smile. The hair is very pretty, but the line in which the hair separates (I don't know how to say it better, sorry) looks a bit odd. Or maybe it's just meant to be like that? Anyway, I really love it. keep up the good work!

2 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note11 think the eyes and smile are the best parts as well.(Of course I am biased, I like pretty much all of this picture) 2 She looks a bit Irish doesn't she? You said it fine, it's just a "hair line". 2 *peers at picture* I can see what you mean...I probably could have gone a bit lighter on it,or made it a bit less defined and more random instead of that straight. Thank you for your kind comment! 2"

Beautiful! I love that her eyes are a bit oblique, it makes her look more like a fantasy creature.

Lovely, the circlet of flowers is great, as are those kewl little curls at the end of her hair. Am very curious as to what she's looking up at though!

1 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: She is probably loking up at a little dragon running off with a cookie! 1"

Love it! I give you two thumbs up! (Plus about 3 million more)

12 Jenny M. Heidewald replies: "Jenny's Note: Awesome, thank you! (Does this mean you are all thumbs? 12 )"
